About Me

The dream becomes the reality...YAY!

Hi! Well, if you're on this page, you have evidently spent more than 20 seconds on my blog, so thanks so much for visiting! About me, hmmm. I wrote a lot about myself in my first post, but in case that is too far back, here it goes:

I am a 22 year old advertising professional in NYC. I am originally from a Chicago suburb and went to school in Washington, DC. Being in advertising in NYC is honestly a dream come true. But really, I have been wanting this for over 7 years, and I am going to take this opportunity and make it count. One day, I will be one of the most successful individuals in the advertising world. You can quote me on that. (Actually, that is permanently quoted thanks to me posting it on the internet!)

I am just a very genuinely happy person. I always see the glass as half full, and it is rare for me to be seen without a smile on my face. I hate down-time, I always like having something to do. Which is one MAJOR reason I wanted to be in NYC. A city that never sleeps? Sign me up! Oh, also I am always on time or early. I am a very laid-back person, but being late is the one thing that gives me an unreal amount of anxiety. No idea why, I have just come to accept it. I also care about my friends and the people around me more than anything in the world. Luckily a lot of them are here with me in New York! (Wow, reading through this after having had this blog a few months, I need to make some SERIOUS changes to this About Me section. Yikes! I'll get to that soon don't you worry :))

You will never actually know who I am. I am trying to maintain complete anonymity throughout the duration of this blog. I plan on disclosing a lot of very personal stories and experiences, so in order to fully express myself and not worry about anything, I will go by Charlotte Hayes. I had this whole plan where I was going to keep every real picture I took blurry, but now I think that was a lame idea. I've unblurred my main picture and from now on you'll get to see mah beautiful face all over the place! (Disclaimer: sorry if a few computer screens break in the process)
