Yeah, it's to prevent being robbed. I've seen it everywhere in Europe when I went backpacking. I didn't wear mine in the front though ;)
Ah I've seriously never heard of that before! I'm glad you didn't do it in Europe :) good decision! I personally think whoever does it looks like a noob (even though it probably is safer than having it on your back, I'd rather take the risk!)<3, Charlotte
