The Very Inspiring Blogger Award

Ohmygosh! So Zee of Catching Zees nominated me for The Very Inspiring Blogger Award! This is suchh a huge honor - I really don't consider my NYC life to be very inspiring, but I am so incredibly happy to have been nominated for this award!

I accept!

Now, when I did this for the Liebster Award, I wrote a little about what the award is for. From a quick online search, I really can't find anything, but the picture for it has the tagline "Keeping the blogisphere a beautiful place". WOAH, awesome! Hopefully I can continue to keep providing this blogging beauty in the future :)

The rules for accepting the award are as follows:

  1. Announce your win with a post and link to whoever presented you with the award.
  2. Display the award certificate on your website.
  3. Present 15 awards to deserving bloggers.
  4. Drop them a comment to tip them off after you have linked them in the post.
  5. Post 7 interesting things about yourself.

Oh my goodness these process are always so complicated! Here goes nothing...

Part 1 - display the award on my blog. CHECK! (Sidenote: I actually did this before writing this post. Got too ahead of myself!)

For part 2 I have to write this post and link whoever presented me with the Very Inspiring Blogger Award. As you can see from my jillion tags in the first paragraph, done! Thanks, again Zee!! (Just did it another time! Tee hee)

Okay, part 3 time. Here is where I present 15 bloggers with the award. My choices in no particular order are:

All these wonderful bloggers truly inspire me, and I always enjoy reading and moseying around their sites! Check them out!

Part 4 definitely seems like it will be the most work (but it's the most fun!) - I have to comment on their sites and let them know that I've nominated them for this award! YAY BLOG LOVE :)

Finally, part 5 requires that I write 7 things about myself. Oh boy, I am so bad at doing this on the spot!

  1. I honestly didn't expect to like blogging as much as I do. I originally made this blog to just document my life in NYC. I wanted to be able to look back one day and remember all the crazy things that happened when I moved here. But recently, I've become invested in other bloggers' stories and lives - it's so cool to see what other people are up to. This sounds so cheesy, but everyone out there that I've seen has inspired me to be my best possible self. I love the blogging community and am probably going to be pursuing this for more than one year (which is what I originally intended)!

  2. I am currently looking for an apartment and it sucks. I've recently written about this a lot. But it is a major thing going on in my life right now so it should probably be included in these 7 points! It is so hard!!

  3. I danced so much when I was out last night that I am so sore today. Fact - I love having solo dance parties. After me and the girls went to late dinner/drinks, we went to a couple bars. So much fun! Except I'm definitely paying for that today with this soreness!

  4. We have a work party on a 4 story yacht this week and I am so excited for it! No explanation necessary for this one.

  5. I miss college so much. There are parts of the real world that I like so much better than college. Being in NYC is amazing and I love my job, but no one warns you how tiring the real world is. Doing everything for yourself is so rough, and it sucks to not get any naps during the day. Also, I miss being so close to all my friends - I used to hang at my guy friends' house every night and now I haven't seen them in months. There's definitely a huge adjustment phase when entering the real world, and I'm still in the thick of it.

  6. I need to step up my workout game. I've joined that adult swim team, but looking for apartments has prevented me from doing it on a consistent basis. Once that's done I will be there in full force!!

  7. I once auditioned to be on the Real World. My audition got kinda messed up - long story for another post I'm sure - but it was definitely an interesting experience. There are a lot of weirdos out there!

Okay, I think that's it! Now it's time to let my nominees know that I have put them up for this award!

Happy blogging, everyone!
