Waiting for the next iPhone...

Check that out! If this is what it could be, I am DEFINITELY waiting!

I had a dilemma about this a little bit ago. My contract with AT&T is up and I need to get a new phone. Last time I mentally debated this, I was leaning towards the Samsung Galaxy s4. However, I've done some recent research and have decided to go with the iPhone.

Now, before judging me too harshly, there is an article I found on cnn.com that discusses how the next iPhone will be released in September. ANDDD it's supposed to be SUPER cool! The main problem I have right now with the iPhone is the amount of face area that is non-screen, and I think this is going to change with the next model. (Seriously read the article, it seems AWESOME!)


So that is the direction I am leaning towards right now. And one of my coworkers told me that if I don't like the new model, then the iPhone will be cheaper when the new one is released, so it seems like a win-win to me :)

    I have an S3 (I got last Sept.) and I really love it. I had an iPhone prior to it and was sick of the limited screen and the fact that if you want anything you have to buy it through Apple. I am so much happier with this phone!

    Yes, I am partially waiting to see if the new one will have a bigger screen! Still not entirely sure what I want to do though...everyone who gets the Galaxy loves it! AHHHHH

    A guy I'm...seeing...got the S4 and I'm jealous. It looks really close to mine but it's so much faster and seems brighter. He was worried it would be too big to fit into his man-pockets but he says its perfect..not that that's a big concern for those of us with purses :)

    I hear good things about the Galaxy phones, but I'm definitely an iPhone girl.
    I hear what Aimee is saying about buying everything through apple, though. Sometimes that can be a little frustrating, but it carries over from device to device, so if you end up using lots of apple technology, it's definitely worth it in the end!

    Yea I have one right now but it like keeps failing on me! Hopefully the next iPhone will be better when I get it (because let's face it, that's probably what's going to happen, even though the Galaxy is I'd say a better phone itself). First world problemzzzz haha!

    Right?! I also think I want to get an iPad soon (or ask for one for the holidays). So that will be good for the integration!

    Yes! I have an iPad, and I absolutely love it! I can quickly switch between the two devices and it makes everything so effortless. I think considering the iPhone is a great idea. I hope you get the perfect device for you!

    Good to know! My plan is also up in September but I am going abroad and won't be getting a new phone until I get back. Hopefully then plenty of my friends will be able to weigh in on how they like the new model before I commit :P

    Oh yes, your abroad timing is PERFECT in this situation!! (ps - so jealous, I wish I could go abroad again. Literally the best time of my life!)

    You definitely can't go back to another phone after having an iphone. The new iOS is going to be cool and besides that, the Galaxy is enormous, like carrying around a small kitchen appliance ahahaha! No offense to those to have them but my <3 belongs to the iPhone!

    I have literally been having this exact same debate, I have to get a new plan and phone no later than the end of september, everyone keeps telling me to wait till there's a new iphone... looks like they were right and looks like it'll be released just in time! (:
